Kyuranger 23: Jark Matter Owns A Biased Stupid Channel Broadcasting Nonsense

It's another episode of Kyuranger. Last week's episode focused on the problem of Jark Matter's historical revisionism. This week, we're seeing Jark Matter's broadcasting network as well as learn more about Tsurugi Ootori. Yes, Jark Matter does have its own A Biased Stupid Channel Broadcasting Nonsense. They're lying to everyone that Don Armage is the Universe' hero. This nonsense is cut short by...

Well, Tsurugi now tries to awaken the minds of the masses from the media brainwashing done by Jark Matter TV across the Universe. This doesn't sit well with them though.

One of the Menasters is known as the sensationalist reporter Mediatsuyo. He's sent by Don Armage to counter the broadcast and make sure that the only "truth" known to the Universe is the truth from their biased broadcasting network.

One of the Vice Shoguns known  as Tecchu has showed up. He shows himself to be super strong. I guess Don Armage has managed to get better help. He also has a fight with Phoenix Soldier which leads to quite a clash.

I thought about how Tsurugi does fit in the anti-hero trope. He pretends to lack concern for his comrades but later, he's seen to be still hurt. Is it me or is this the revival of the anti-hero tropes similar to Gai Yuki/Black Condor, Burai/Dragon Ranger and Naoto Takizawa/Time Fire? I have a bad feeling he might end up dead like those guys I just mentioned. It's also revealed that he was placed by Orion under suspended animation after he was seriously injured.

Sidenote, I also like how Eris isn't forgotten as a guest character. Kyuranger 19's adventure in Planet Keel wasn't left in the dark. Even if Eris may not get a big part but at least we know the history behind the past and the present in Kyuranger's Universe. What can be clearly seen is that the plot concerning Tsurugi and Don Armage is starting to get expanded.

Next week will probably give us more details on Tsurugi's past. I hope that next week's episode will slowly but surely give us a really good plot to look forward to. Hopefully the revolution is on. Remember Stay Wary because the enemy doesn't give up so easily.

My Thoughts Concerning Kyuranger In 22 Episodes

I don't deny that I like Kyuranger. I don't know if should say this now but I feel that the show is miles better than last year's Zyuohger while some may think otherwise. It's already 22 episodes and I feel like making a rant before. Now I'm going to do it again since no matter how much I like the show, I always tend to do CinemaSins even with shows and video games that I like every now and then. So what's my latest concern?

Warning! Spoilers ahead!

The heroes

Is it me or is Kyuranger going overboard with the hero count? While I'm open to an increase of characters but too many characters can be a bad thing. I remembered watching Eto Ranger and I don't think watching this season should be a problem. So what's my concern?

I'll give my thoughts on the core team first. It's interesting to have a team of not just humans but also aliens and robots. Lucky's happy go lucky behavior is somewhat justified by his tragic past. Sure he's an idiot but at he's much better than a teleserye guy. Hammy is a ninja though I wish they can develop her some more. Garu and Stinger are tragic characters which may provide balance for the show. Naga and Balance aren't interesting. Raptor's not your typical pink ranger but isn't all that interesting. Champ has a good backstory but it seems to be on stale after Scorpio got destroyed. Spada seems to be nothing more than a chef on board when he's not fighting. I think it's going to be hard to spread things out. I hope that the problem can be lessened soon.

I don't know what exactly to think of the more relaxed commander. He had his past where he was rash and maybe, just maybe his behavior tends to be be his way of making up for his tragic past. He may be a cool character but I think he's no match for Dekaranger's Doggie Kruger. Hopefully, they can try to make him better than he is right now.

Somehow, I feel the newest character appeals to my inner youth. While most of the cast members are really young people but Tsurugi Ootori's actor Keisuke Minami is already 32 years old. Did he accept the role to show that he's 32 and still likes Super Sentai to a certain extent? While I did lose enthusiasm for Super Sentai but I figured out I just needed a break and focus on other new school stuff. What's funny is that while I took a break from Super Sentai i was still watching new school Kamen Rider while I was enjoying some new school K-Drama or Taiwanese drama. I may not like Tokusatsu in general as much as I used to but I can still enjoy the latest seasons regardless of my age. I have this guy to thank for surging me up like a phoenix. I hope he doesn't end up stealing the spotlight in future episodes.

So it's in a parallel Universe?

Personally, I like the idea of taking Super Sentai in different continuities every now and then. I think that using the Multiverse format is better for writing Toei's brand of Tokusatsu than always relying on a single universe. It's like how Gokaiger can be viewed as part of the VS. Universe while Kyuranger might as well be viewed as the "Kyuranger Universe". Most Super Sentai series are meant to happen in their own continuity and VS. Movies are meant to happen in an alternate continuity. I think the use of the Multiverse format is beneficial in many ways.

Kyuranger's story actually demands it to take place in another Universe. The time and setting is where the Space Shogunate Jark Matter has taken over the Kyuranger Universe. At first, it had me wondering where in the Earth are the 40 other Super Sentai when the Earth needed it? The answer is that was revealed that most Super Sentai series they usually take place in another continuity. It's like how Winspector, Ohranger and GoGoFive all take place in the year 1999 (in terms of plot) yet they are all separate from each other. I don't see any reason why Commander Masaki won't show up even as a guest star in GoGoFive. He freaking showed up in Exceedraft when the evil demon Iwao Daimon was about to take over the world so he has no excuse not to show up with Grandienne's evil. Unlike Power Rangers, Super Sentai tends to make most of its seasons self-contained.

The villains namely the Jark Matter

The villains in Kyuranger operate quite differently. They have taken over various planets in the Universe while they have concentrated their operations on Earth. What I like about Kyuranger is that some episodes just don't take place on Earth although majority of the episodes from the first up to the most recent are on Earth. I gave a thought on some of the villains and what I think about how things are written.

Don Armage does have the potential to be a creepy, scary villain as he rules the galaxies but my problem with him is how often he remains hidden. He's supposedly Super Sentai's version of Darth Sidious so maybe he's not that active. But what I thought about it that what's the secret he's hiding? Is this guy from Earth? How did Tsurugi Ootori put an end to him years ago? Why is he suddenly still alive? I hope that there will be a good plot twist to Don Armage's history.

Ikagen and Madoka started out as a good assassin duo but they were killed off so easily. I thought about how easily Ikagen got killed. He was a badass assassin then Madoka gets killed off so easily. I don't know what to think as of yet. It reminds me of how Goranger and Gingaman tends to change enemy commanders so easily after one drops, another comes forward.

It was nice to have Scorpio around but I felt it was a waste to just get rid of him immediately. What are the producers thinking of getting rid of such a potentially powerful plot? I wanted to expand the conflict of Stinger and his brother Scorpio for more episodes. Sign... it's really a disappointment not to expand the plot a little more. I hope they can replace Scorpio with a better, more evil villain or better yet I hope we get a villain who'll say, "LUCKY I AM YOUR FATHER!"

Hopefully the Vice Shoguns will be a better replacement for all the potential that was killed off so early. Is killing off the villains a way to sell more Bandai merchandise or is it a way of showing that Don Armage's network isn't easily destroyed? You decide.

_________

It's nice to try something new and it's by trying something new we get good shows. But there's always going to be some mistakes along the way. But I'm still enjoying Kyuranger in spite of whatever mistakes I've just mentioned in this post. Enjoy it but don't forget to share what you think about it. As said, I'll still continue doing some weekly posts (but don't expect updates on toys) though I may cram up certain episode reviews in one post whenever I feel like it.

Sentai Badass Moment: Ken Hoshikawa's Biggest Lesson In Fiveman Episode 21

I haven't written any badass moments as of late but I'll do one right now. Here's a bit of a throwback. I thought about the number of times I felt like giving up but Ken Hoshikawa my favorite character in Fiveman tends to kick me hard in my head. Here's one episode that had him coach a group of children who were failing in physical education classes.

I remembered that episode when Ken battles the Amoeba Rugin. If I'm not wrong his decision to fight out of suit was to teach the children the value of perseverance. It was pretty much like Momoko's fight out of suit in Maskman episode 20. While Fiveman was Hirohisa Soda losing it but this is one of the more decent episodes for a Super Sentai season that nearly ended the franchise.

What I enjoy about this episode is how fighting out of suit taught the three children the value to never give up. Ken defeated the monster twice with his raw willpower. He only out his suit on during the mech fight scene.

Speaking of which, I thought that Lightspeed Rescue should have gotten inspiration from Fiveman episode 21 instead of the GoGoFive episode it was taken from. Chad looks like he should have been a martial arts sensei to a group of children. The old sensei from GoGoFive doesn't even need an American counterpart. Chad could have shown the children the value of not giving up in beating Cyclopter with his moves.

Kyuranger 22: The Battle Against Jark Matter's Historical Revisionism

Is it a coincidence or done on purpose that this week's Kyuranger is on historical revisionism? Today is the 2nd SONA of President Rodrigo R. Duterte. Kyuranger may be a Japanese show but it's funny how Filipinos may actually be given a wake-up call against historical revisionism. With Japan and the Philippines as important allies let this review rip off the Empire of Aquino!

In this week's Kyuranger, we see the problem of historical revisionism is done throughout the Space Shogunate. They teach everyone that Don Armage is the new hero and one could view the students as Yellowtards. In Star Wars, these would be the Imperial academies that promote the dark side. In real life, the Philippines is full of schools that teach the Yellow Propaganda. The monster of the week is name Manavil. Shoot, shouldn't they have named him Marbobo instead? XD

This episode focuses on Ohtori Tsurugi. So he's been asleep for 300 years or what? If Zyuohger was in 2016 I'd assume this series takes place in 2317. So what if the black hole that Space 18 had was a time space warp, pun intended. Since Tsurugi was asleep for centuries so think about how much he's missed. I don't think he even knows about the legend of the other Kyurangers or that he may be destined to fight with them. It's also revealed he supposedly killed Don Armage centuries ago but how is the tyrant alive and kicking?

A power-up known as the Hercules Globe. Okay, I'm not finding this joke on Hammy to be funny. She could have just gained super strength without the bad joke. Anyway, the Kyurangers were trying to stop a Consumarz from destroying the Earth. It's  nice to think how Hammy gets to use her brain and brawn in one episode.

Gigant Houou reveals itself to be the latest mecha of the show. I love its cool rocket ship/phoenix hybrid design. What's impressive is how the burning flame sword is used once again. What disappointed me back in 2009 is that Shinkenger didn't try to combine both real flames and CGI flames. It was impressive to have some real flames before the CGI flames are used for the rest of the fight. It's always nice to combine both old school and new school methods whenever it's possible.

At the end of the episode, three new shadowy figures show up. I have a feeling that we may be getting into something new.

Don Armage is pissed that his propaganda was destroyed. He's desperate and it looks like he's going to use his Vice Shoguns to get rid of the Kyurangers. I guess it's his desperate attempt to make sure that the real history of the Universe isn't shown. Doesn't that sound like the Aquino Empire conspiracy?

It's nice to have a summer dance at the end of the credits. I love the change of pace the ending theme has taken from the regular ending theme. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Next week will try to develop more of the clash of ideals between the Kyurangers and Tsurugi. Just for a bit of pun intended I wish that Change Dragon's actor Haruki Hamada will make a guest appearance.

Five Superficial Reasons Why I Think Super Sentai Is Better Than Power Rangers

It's really no secret that I dislike Power Rangers. Sure, I used to watch it as a child but it just doesn't give me as much satisfaction even before I discovered more of Super Sentai. Until now, I still think about my discovery of both post-Jetman and pre-Zyuranger during the early 2000s or when I had my Super Sentai hangovers, Tokusatsu breaks and Sentai snob moments. But I do want to admit I have shallow reasons to think Super Sentai is better than Power Rangers and why I tend to think I'm better off not watching the latter.

It's because Super Sentai came first

I tend to think like, "It's because Super Sentai came first. Like WTF? I tend to forget that some of my favorite Japanese shows were based on non-Japanese shows. I could talk about how I feel Japanese shows based on American shows or how Taiwanese and Korean shows based on Japanese shows make their own footage and film everything themselves. I still feel it's awkward to use footage from Super Sentai to produce Power Rangers even if Toei allows it. But I thought how often I tend to think that Super Sentai is better because it came first.

I could talk about a couple of stuff where it came first doesn't work. Do you remember the Mighty Morphin' three parter called "A Friend in Need"? The stage shows came first then "A Friend in Need" was taking the idea to the television. I could rant again and again to how the Shinkenger/Decade crossover was miles better than "A Friend in Need" as well as its successors. But the argument is which came first? It certainly wasn't the Shinkenger crossover with Decade nor its successors. It was "A Friend in Need" that came first but the execution was so horrible. My reason for disliking Power Rangers should not be because it came next but because of how often implementation has been so faulty.

Should I mention that some of my favorite shows aren't always the original versions from Japan or any country? I admit that I prefer Janperson over its inspiration Robocop, the Japanese Powerpuff Girls Z over the American original, I prefer the Taiwanese Meteor Garden over Hana Yori Dango and some South Korean TV dramas based on Anime or Manga are more preferable to me than the Anime or Manga in terms of plot. This proves that I should care more about the implementation than which came first.

Duh... because it's Japanese therefore it's going to be better

I admit I do love the Japanese culture and I can't deny how Japan revolutionized the world of electronics and entertainment. I can't deny how I'm glad to have bought a Playstation 3 instead of an X-Box One five years ago. I can't deny how much Japanese shows did influence several Taiwanese and South Korean companies such as Meteor Garden or the South Korean version of City Hunter. I can't forget how I got bored with a lot of American shows because of how shallow they can get never mind I can also be that shallow.

Speaking of Japanese culture I don't think it's always been the best. As much as I still love having Japanese inventions and Japanese made stuff but not everything Japanese is always better. I'm not all too fond of Japanese food as there's other alternatives such as Korean food. You could think about how Japanese entertainment also has its own faulty entries. One good example I could name is how some of Capcom's games such as Street Fighter V and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 fail to deliver content-rich gameplay in the digital age. They're supposed to be new school so they should strive to get better but sigh it's always disappointing when something new school fails to deliver. As much as I acknowledge that the Playstation is a Japanese invention but some of the games I enjoy aren't Japanese-made. Take for example Mortal Kombat's reboot from Netherrealm Studios. Sure it has some Japanese inspiration but it's an American game.

On the other hand, I'd still like to blast some Power Rangers snobs who think their beloved show is better because its American and it's in English. Nationality and language don't necessarily make a show better. Should I mention a lot of shows I enjoy for the plot aren't in English though I still have the bad habit of watching some shows for the attractive female lead? Strange but true.

It's for the musical score rather than the plot

I admit that a lot of American theme songs can be that bad to my ears. I still think most Power Rangers theme songs are THAT BAD and the Mighty Morphin' theme is getting overused. I still think that Kamen Rider Ryuki's opening theme is better than Kamen Rider Dragon Knight's. I still think the soundtrack of Super Sentai is better than the soundtrack of Power Rangers. Is it me or is it all about cultural differences why the musical styles of Super Sentai is different than Power Rangers?

This one had me thinking of certain cases in Super Sentai or Kamen Rider had better music but not better writing. As much I prefer the music of the Showa era Kamen Riders but I prefer the Heiseiera Kamen Riders. I still don't find myself admiring the musical scores of the Heisei era Kamen Riders but I still prefer to watch them over Showa era Kamen Riders. For Super Sentai seasons I could name some where the soundtrack isn't that good but man is the story good. how Fiveman may have the better opening theme song but GoGoFive has the better plot. how Abaranger may not have the better theme song but it delivers the dinosaur theme better than Zyuranger.

On the other hand, I still feel like that Super Sentai music still has its beats done right. They put also different types of music for different types of situations. But again, good music is just part of the package isn't it?

For the tons of super duper amazing fight scenes

Super Sentai has a lot of amazing moments that usually don't make it into Power Rangers. I could still gloat about how Zyuranger's Green With Evil has better action and plot since I love to poke at how Jason David Frank is just an overrated guy compared to Hiroshi Miyauchi. Dairanger has a lot of really badass action compared to Mighty Morphin' Season Two. Hurricanger has better action scenes than Ninja Storm or how Dekaranger has better action than Power Rangers SPD. I could still go on and on while I could ignore the obvious for all I care.

I can't deny that Power Rangers still has its own fight scenes done by the main cast of the season. There are a few moments I thought that Power Rangers has some moments where I'm impressed. Chad Lee's fight with Cylopter using karate (though he should have been a karate instructor to a group of kids instead for that episode) appeals to me more than Daimon's use of judo to execute the milk tornado drop. Another is there are times Jennifer in Time Force showed some amazing moves against Steelix. Both Kyoryuger and Dino Charge have everyone doing the best they can to give impressive fight scenes.

Speaking of action scenes I could name some instances where a less intense Super Sentai season may be better. My favorite examples might be how I prefer Abaranger over Zyuranger, Hurricanger over Kakuranger and maybe I prefer Gekiranger over Dairanger. As much as the action scenes of Zyuranger, Kakuranger and Dairanger are better but I tend to prefer the way storytelling was done with Abaranger, Hurricanger and Gekiranger.

The obvious superficial side of mine is because most of the Super Sentai girls are hotter than the Power Rangers girls

It's really stupid how people can miss the point when a good show has a lot of eye candy while they don't care if a bad show has lots of eye candy. I personally can be very guilty of that. I couldn't forget why I even bothered to watch Power Rangers Megafailed for the eye candy. That show was really horrible and should be considered rock bottom or even below rock bottom in terms of quality. I can't even bear to rewatch it even for shallow reasons. On the other hand, I usually find myself watching certain Super Sentai seasons for the eye candy rather than the plot. Maybe I didn't find a lot of the girls in post-Gokaiger all that attractive maybe except for Haruka Tateishi in Zyuohger. Some of them are are cute but not too hot though I tend to use Ninninger's girls as a stupid excuse to bash Ninja Steel.

I could give a bit of self-contradiction here. People know I find Kimberly way hotter than Mei as well as every Power Rangers or Super Sentai girl. I tend to bash poor Mei (at times) but maybe not as as bad as poor Tori. I still enjoy Mei's amazing stuntwork but I tend to ignore that whenever Kimberly's around. I end up picking Zyuranger over Mighty Morphin' even when I don't find Mei all that attractive. I could admit that there are times I find Kira Ford more attractive than Ranru Itsuki but I pick Abaranger over Dino Thunder. I hate how I tend to flip flop for such a silly reason. On the other hand, I still find myself thinking with something as really stupid as Hurricanger is better than Ninja Storm because Nanami Nono is way hotter than Tori Hanson.

Somehow, watching some old school Super Sentai where eye candy wasn't all that hot made me rethink my ways. I still think Nanami is way hotter than Megumi Misaki but Liveman is the better show over Hurricanger. Sure, Hurricanger did improve some things but I prefer Liveman's plot for the better. I don't find the girls in Changeman or Flashman all that attractive but those are pretty good shows in terms of plot. I hate to admit how I tend to watch Super Sentai for the plot then I tend to watch it all for the eye candy when it's just a bonus and the show's implementation is way more important.

Super Sentai Villains Whose Power Rangers Counterparts Have Reduced Roles

It's safe to say that with cultural differences between the United States and Japan that maybe some of these happened. Here are Super Sentai villains whose Power Rangers counterparts have reduced roles.

Dai Satan from Zyuranger to Lokar from Mighty Morphin'

I remembered seeing Lokar in Mighty Morphin' as his footage got used. Rita merely invited him to participate in the carnage and his one of her monsters. But in Zyuranger here's the twist. As his name implies he is the ultimate evil of Zyuranger. While Bandora served as the recurring archenemy of the Zyurangers but he served as the ultimate evil of the show. Bandora pledged allegiance to his cause in exchange for revenge. He was ultimately destroyed by Kyukyoku Daizyujin in the finale. Why Lokar is written as Rita's monster instead of her patron god is unknown.

Daijinryuu in Dairanger to Serpentera in MMPR Season 2

I remembered seeing the really huge but always runs out of energy zord called Serpentera. Is it me or is Lord Zedd really that stupid from creating putties with obvious weak spots to not considering the limits that Serpentera would have? Years later, I discovered that Serpentera's Super Sentai counterpart Daijinryuu was a sentient being. All the footage in MMPR Season 2 of Serpentera running out of energy were taken from Daijinryuu's ceasefire. Daijinryuu may be a neutral force but he's done several villainous acts (which is why he's in this list) such as taking out his frustration on innocent people making him an even more serious threat than the Gorma themselves.

Lt. Col. Shadam from Dairanger to Mondo the Magician from MMPR Season 2

I don't know what Toei was thinking when they had to produce Zyu2 footage for the arrival of Lord Zedd. Lt. Col. Shadam who is one amazing villain yet his MMPR counterpart was just a monster of the week. I mean, this guy could pawn Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa and would have probably seized power from both fools for himself.

Great Demon King from Kakuranger to Master Vile in MMPR Season 3

Season 3 of MMPR was really a drag. I just watched it all because I had nothing else to watch but it doesn't change the fact I freaking don't like it not just because Kimberly left but because of how overly extended MMPR got. Master Vile arrived as the father to both Rito Revolto (Prince Junior's counterpart) and Rita Repulsa and didn't stay too long. In Kakuranger, Great Demon King was the main villain who arrived for the second half of the series.

President Gynamo from Carranger to Rygog from Power Rangers Turbo

Gynamo is the president of the Bowzock organization though he's just a puppet of both Zonette (who uses her sexuality) and later Emperor Exhaus (though he refused to acknowledge it at first). He's officially recognized as the head of the Bowzock while Zonette serves as its de-facto leader (until Emperor Exhaus arrived). In Power Rangers Turbo we have Divatox as the official crew leader while Rygog is her subordinate.

Emperor Exhaus from Carranger to Goldyle from Power Rangers Turbo

Emperor Exhaus played a huge role in Carranger as the ultimate evil in the show's continuity. He manipulated the super stupid Bowzock organization. In Power Rangers Turbo he's simply the most powerful monster hired by Divatox to destroy the Power Rangers Turbo team.

Dr. Hinelar's monster form from Megaranger to Furio from Lost Galaxy

Dr. Hinelar's wasted final form was turned into Furio the first general to die in Lost Galaxy. What I thought was that Lost Galaxy could've used a Dr. Hinelar counterpart as Scorpius' right hand man instead. I could imagine this Dr. Hinelar counterpart messing up with life in the Lost Galaxy even seeking to use the Galaxy Beasts for his insane experiments. IMO, Dr. Hinelar's monster form shouldn't have been used in Megaranger either considering how underutilized it was. Trakeena might have served better as a Power Rangers in Space game-changing Ahames-type villain and Darkonda never existed in that show.

Captain Zahab from Gingaman to Captain Mutiny from Lost Galaxy

Some people prefer Lost Galaxy over Gingaman though I could point out some mistakes from both shows. If I could rant all I want that maybe Flashman should have been the one named Gingaman then maybe I could talk about Captain Mutiny's existence. He served little to no role for just seven episodes. I don't think his appearance was even necessary. Either Captain Mutiny could have been the main villain of the show or he shouldn't even appear at all. Scorpius was already doing his job as a main villain so why even use him as a third wheel?

Don Dolnero from Timeranger to Gluto from Time Force

I think it's cultural differences to why Don Dolnero's counterpart Gluto isn't the main villain. As much as I dislike Power Rangers (and my preference for Timeranger over Time Force is more on extreme favoritism) but I still agree with people who think Ransik is the better villain than Don Dolnero. Sure Don Dolnero is better than Gluto but I don't think he's better than Ransik. Sure, I'd still pick Dr. Giba from Jiban over Ransik any day as the better villain but the latter is still badass. I think Jiban and the Timerangers would probably still have a hard time getting rid of Ransik before they defeat him for good.

The Three Org Highnesses from Gaoranger to the Three Org Generals from Wild Force

Gaoranger had no Master Org so the three villains Shuten, Ura and Rasetsu all took turns in their role as the "Master Org". All three of them were combined by Tsuetsue into the final villain Senki. In Wild Force their counterparts Retinax, Nayzor and Mandilok are Org Generals instead of Org Highnesses due to the presence of Viktor Adler who became the second Master Org. Neither Gaoranger nor Wild Force did any expansion on Hyakimaru (on who the three Highness Orgs that forced the one being were) or anything about the previous Master Org before Viktor became the main villain of the series.

Agent Abrella from Dekaranger to Broodwing in SPD

Okay, let me get it straight that Dekaranger doesn't really have a central organization while Abrella exists as the overarching villain who arrives early on. It's pretty much like how Ryuichi Takaoka from Solbrain and Iwao Daimon from Exceedraft exist as the recurring villains in a show where a central organization is nonexistent. Broodwing in Power Rangers SPD exists as Emperor Grumm's agent and not as the greatest villain ever. Pretty much my readers know I still would pick Dekaranger over SPD.

Brajira of the Messiah from Goseiger to Prince Vrak

Yes, it's time to bring that accursed Megafailed season yet again. Prince Vrak quickly goes down to extra in the second half of that awful show. Brajira started out as someone who allied with different organizations but he had manipulated them behind the scenes. He turned out to be the fallen angel that the Goseigers had to get rid of. As much as I feel Goseiger is a weaker series but this guy is one of the strongest points ever!

Enter from Go-Busters to Heckyl from Dino Charge

While Go-Busters was skipped no thanks to the stupid season split of Power Rangers but Enter did get his closest counterpart. Dino Charge had its own version of Enter with Heckyl who arrived as a midseason villain. I wonder if he even counts. Enter is Go-Busters' greatest villain and I think he may even overthrow Venjix if he were part of Power Rangers RPM.

Deboth from Kyoryuger to Greenzilla in Dino Charge

I gave a thought on some pluses and minuses of Kyoryuger and Dino Charge. It could have been better if Sledge himself would later mutate into Greenzilla in Dino Charge. Also, I thought it could have been something if underneath all that armor that Sledge looks like Deboth.

Different Ways Anyone Could Travel Across Toei's Vast Tokusatsu Multiverse

I thought my Multiverse "expose" will be over but I want to think about ways to travel across the Toei's Tokusatsu Multiverse. A lot of crossover movies and  revealed that there's more than one Universe in Toei. Just check out how crossover movies usually present events that couldn't fit into the series' canon of both shows involved.

Space 18 of Kyuranger showed the episode where the selected heroes got vacuumed into another Universe that would lead to the continuity of Gavan vs. Dekaranger. Some scientists assumed that a black hole may be a portal to another Universe. the whole episode brought the Kyuranger cast into another Earth that's not taken over by Jark Matter. In Kyuranger, entering a black hole would mean you get into another Universe instead of the possibility that you'd be pulled apart. Let's look at other possibilities of traveling Toei's Tokusatsu Multiverse.

The villains of Sharivan, Shaider and Gavan take place in some other dimension namely the Makuu Space for Gavan, the Madou Space for Sharivan and the Fuuma Space for Shaider. I could assume that these foes actually belong to another Universe invading the respective Universe where the three space sheriffs exist. The enemies would create a portal that's similar to a black hole with the hopes that the monster can destroy the hero. It's highly possible that when the three Space Sheriffs battle the monsters in the strange dimension that they just left their respective Universe. How Gavan would later get involved with Dekaranger and Go-Busters is still unknown unless it's an alternate version of Gavan.

Image
Kamen Rider Black RX introduced traveling through another world. There's the Crisis homeworld where it apparently is another dimension than a planet. The Crisis Empire's Crisis Fortress travels through various dimensions. It's safe to assume that the Crisisians don't belong to the same universe as the Kamen Riders.

Jetman's main antagonist group the Vyram belong to the "Back Dimension" and now they're going into Jetman's Universe called "The Front Dimension". The Vyram have revealed their ability to open portals. Radiguet's blade is so sharp he could even open portals that could lead to another Universe. The Vyrock is Vyram's castle which travels between dimensions.

The Abarangers have both the people of Dino Earth and the Evorians use dimensional travel technology. Dino Earth is in a parallel universe. The concept was improved from what Jetman started with the Vyram. You can use the technology of Dino Earth and the Evorians to travel through dimensions.

Go-onger talks about traveling Braneworlds where the Go-on Engines create portals so they could travel from one Braneworld to another. The Gaiarc are apparently from another Universe. Santa Claus apparently comes from another Universe as far as Go-onger's treatment of the story book character is concerned. Both the Go-ongers and the Gaiarc have their technology to travel to another Braneworld. The Go-ongers apparently are in a show that travels across Multiverses. Both the Go-ongers (through their Engines) and the Gaiarc possess the ability to travel from one Universe to another. I guess Braneworld is just a fancy word for Universe.

Kamen Rider Decade revealed the use of door-like portals to enter various Universes which takes the whole Hikari Studio with it. Kamen Rider Black RX was retroactively included with the other Kamen Riders. Kamen Rider Kuuga up to Kamen Rider Kiva seem to operate in their own continuity. Kamen Rider Agito can be considered as an Alternate Continuity for Kamen Rider Kuuga. Decade's house served as a portal to the Alternate Reality worlds where they reached the World of Shinkenger. In the case of Ninninger/Drive a reversal happened since the Ninningers entered into a world without Super Sentai. How the events of ToQGer vs. Gaim and how the guest roles of Kamen Rider Ghost and Zyuohger happen aren't explained.

The Goseigers come from Gosei World. They use the Heaven's Tower to cross between dimensions. It's safe to say that they may be from another Universe.

ToQGer apparently uses trains that could enter into various multiverses. That may explain why the ToQGers were able to meet up with Kamen Rider Gaim. Shadow Line seems to also have the same technology to travel across universes using their trains. So far, this may be the best way to travel across Toei's Tokusatsu Multiverse when you're having a group tour. For ToQGer to have a crossever with Gaim I assume their train could cross an entirely different Universe.

Zyuohger introduces the idea of dimensional cubes. I do feel like this is taken straight from Stargate or whatever film there was in the past. Zyuland seemed to be another Universe though it was merged back with our Universe in the finale.
